Uniworld River Cruise – Disembarkation

PASSAU to Prague by Motor Coach  BLOG #11 Uniworld River Cruise – Disembarkation

This morning, an early breakfast, those of us who opted to take the three night extension to Prague, boarded a luxury coach for our transfer.  Some of our fellow passengers had chosen to be transferred to Munich Airport (all seamlessly organised by Uniworld).

The four hour coach ride turned out to be an added experience, driving through the Bavarian countryside we experienced the result of heavy snowfalls and were delighted when the coach stopped in the middle of a heavily wooded forest to allow us some “play” time including a snowball fight.

The coach portion included the services of a local guide pointing out all the sights and as well, she gave us a fascinating history lesson.  The coach trip went so quickly and soon we pulled into our hotel in the centre of Prague.  It was lunch time when we arrived and many of us headed for the hotel’s dining room that featured art deco ceramic tiles.  Sandra and I both ordered a schnitzel with potato salad and I must admit it was the best schnitzel I have had in my life.

This seven night Uniworld river boat cruise has made me a true believer of the advantages of travelling on river boats.  Sandra and I can’t wait for our next river boat experience, our only complaint is that we would have liked more time on board.  The seven days just went too quickly.

Thank you Uniworld for making this one of our best cruise experiences.

End of this series of day to day on River Beatrice.
